Class 1 Riders Test – Pony Club C1
Section a: 8 years & under;
Section b: 10 years & under
Class 1 is to be judged as a rider’s test— on the effectiveness and influence of the rider rather than the way of going of the horse. The rider’s test score sheet will be used and not the standard dressage score sheet.
Class 2 Introductory Novice Dressage 2007
Section a: 8 years & under;
Section b: 10 years & under;
Section c: over 10 years
Class 3 Novice Dressage Test 2004
Open to all.
Class 4 Novice Championship Dressage 2005
Open to all.
Class 5 Open Dressage Test 2008
Open to all.
Entry Fee: £8; Blankney Pony Club Members £7
Entries close Friday 18th July
Team competition available in each class
extra £1 per rider.
Teams of 3 or 4 competitors – best 3 scores to count.
Rosettes: Teams to 3rd place
Individuals to 6th place
Special prize for the highest placed Blankney Pony Club member in each class.

Conditions of Entry
· The event will be run under Pony Club Dressage Rules 2008
· It is mandatory for all Pony Club Members to wear a protective helmet manufactured to one of the minimum standards as advised by The Pony Club. It must bear the CE mark and a quality symbol, either the BSI Kite mark, the SAI Global symbol or the official Snell label with number. A tag will be attached to a protective helmet that complies with the requirements of The Pony Club. Non-members who choose to ride with a protective helmet NOT of the minimum standard set by The Pony Club do so at their own risk.
· Organisers reserve the right to alter classes or sections
· No one other than the competitor may ride the pony at the event
· No lungeing allowed
· Pony Club members wishing to wear spurs must have their membership card signed by their District Commissioner and carry it with them or have proof of B Test.
· Ages as of 1st January 2008.
· Horses or ponies must be at least 4 years old.
· The decisions of the Judge is final on all points.
· All tests may be commanded.
There shall be no refunds after the closing date of the competition
