Julie Frizzell can help riders at all levels enjoy a greater connection and stronger relationship with their horse through positive, simplified and enjoyable flatwork schooling. Julie owns Dressage Coaching UK and is an accredited British Dressage trainer, Pony Club Instructor as well as being a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
 
Julie's coaching philosophy is quite simple; a kind horse working with its rider, moving willingly forwards into a soft neck and contact, to the best of its ability. A happy, healthy motivated horse is the priority.
 
Julie enjoys working with all abilities, from walk/trot to advanced medium/advanced and is a listed Paralympic trainer. She has trained up to InterI and produced horses from novice to advanced; she's competed at Hickstead, BD Regionals, National Champs and Premier Leagues (at the lower levels) but more importantly, her clients have succeeded at Riding ClubNational Championships, Trailblazer National Championships, BD Regionals as well as lots of success at Area Festival and local fun shows.
Coaching sessions are structured around your aims and ambitions, whatever they may be, including test riding, competition preparation, structured long term coaching plans, showing classes (your 'show'), dressage to enhance showjumping performance and dressage to music.
 
Cost per 30 minute session is £20 but please warm up first - this will maximise the benefit of your time with Julie. We recognise that horses need differing warm up times and it seems daft to pay your trainer for the time you're warming up your horse - please feel free to use the arena for as long as your horse needs to be fully warmed up before your session.
